Traveling with an ATV Will Have you Enjoying Life

ATV or All-Terrain Vehicles are the best ways to explore, period.  Everyone should enjoy the ATV life at least once in their lives. If you own one, then you know what I am talking about.

These vehicles have three main awesome features. They usually have a straddle seating position like b steering, and the ability to be used on all kinds of terrain.

It Is a Great Workout

Using an ATV or all-terrain vehicle, you can make sharp turns and have a lot of fun
riding through various kinds of terrain. Also, if you are someone who is too lazy to move around much or do a lot of exercises, then this is a great fit for you. Not only will you lose some weight, but you will also have so much fun while doing so.

Even though riding an ATV does not make sure that you get as much workout as you
would have gotten lifting weights, it gets more work out of you than the
exercise you would be getting with just walking.

Independence on an ATV

Do you want to blow off some steam after having a mundane eventful life? ATVs are
great for just that. It is so much fun to just ride along on any kind of
terrain with carefree independence after an overwhelming day.

You do not need to be a couch potato and talk about your problems all day. Instead,
you can go on a ride on your ATV and feel the wild wind on your face while
enjoying the amazing landscapes that nature has to offer. If you get a chance
to do all this while riding an ATV, you will feel rejuvenated and freeing.

Care and Share

Are you on the lookout for something to do with your friends and family? Has going
to the park, riding bikes, and other activities become boring all of a sudden?
You can always try going for a ride on ATVs with family and friends.

Now is the time to switch things up a bit and have a little more fun than you are
used to. Why stop at riding alone? You can ride with others and have even more
fun while doing so. Spending time with people around you becomes much more
enticing if you ride along with them on ATVs. So, go ahead and start your
adventure now.  And speaking of riding with friends, my friend Jason who owns Ez Breezy Cleaning Services is a great person to ride with if you’re ever in the Grande Prairie area.

Final Thoughts

Riding on an ATV is like a sort of therapy. You can go on these rides for not just
work-related activities but also to have fun alone or with friends and family.

If you do not own an ATV, then I highly recommend it. Why not spend your free time doing something enjoyable? Now is the time for you to get right into it.

Snowmobile Adventures in Alberta – Part 1

It’s November in Alberta and the weather is cold and the snow is flying. You could let the weather get you down and stay indoors, or you can get out to some of Alberta’s incredible snowmobile trails and put a smile on your face. With plenty of land, the province is just waiting to be explored by its frozen lakes and streams. The opportunity to explore is just waiting for you to open up your throttle. The following are some of your favorite snowmobile trails that you can take advantage of any winter.

The Golden Triangle

We can find the Golden Triangle in the central part of Alberta. It is a circuit with a length of 350 km that connects different regions including Swan Hills, Fox Creek, and Whitecourt. This route is well maintained with and with terrific signage. Although it is a significant distance, it is possible to do the full distance in one day. However, we recommend taking your time and enjoy the sites. Stay at one of many accommodations along the route and stretch it out to 3 days or more. There are a range of preparation areas along the trail and several warm-up huts where you unthaw and have some lunch. If you need a map, you can find them at the three towns on the route.

The Town of Westlock

The Westlock trails consist of 150 km of highly maintained trails. This hidden gem of trails is located about an hour north of Edmonton and comprises many loops including the main loop (40 km) and on to the north (80 km up and around Cross Lake) and one just west (30 km). Check out this terrific area, you won’t be disappointed.

The Town of Bonneyville

The Bonneyville area offers snowmobilers a fabulous forest route with 2 main loops. The north loop is 80 km and follows the Iron Horse Trail, which is a beautiful ride for the whole family. The south trail is  about 130 km and runs down to Garnier Lake. Both trails are well with warming huts that will get you thawed out. And if you’re looking for an even greater challenge, find some local sledders and have them take you to the Bangs Lake Trail. This unmarked route takes you through to Moose Lake and then to Thin Lake. Even though this is unmarked, there are still warming huts so should feel safe to take this journey.

Check out more in Part 2

In the next segment of Alberta Snowmobile Adventures, we will take you to more of our favorite Alberta trails, so that you can get joy out of winter. If you’re looking for a new sled, we recommend that you check out Ski-doo and get ready to get the most out of your winter.

Take an ATV Vacation

ATV’s and Side-by-sides are a terrific way to take get-away vacations.  There is no better way to recharge the batteries and dramatically reduce stress.

ATV vacations can be completely unpredictable and adventurous for the whole family.  Whether they are one day or multiple days, you can hit the trails, streams, or grasslands to discover a world that few see.   The following are some of our families favorite and most memorable  ATV vacation trips we have taken.

Bear Creek Trail in Daisy State Park

Following the shoreline of Lake Greeson, which offers you amazing panoramic views, combined with the Ouachita Mountain range, this place will blow your mind. You can only enjoy all that this place has to offer if you are on your ATV. With the steep inclines, you can only explore properly with an ATV.

Fourche Mountain Trail

Exploring sites that most people cannot get to without an ATV is the main goal here. Breathtaking views of Fourche Mountain and Buch Knob will give you chills riding on your ATV. There are also beautiful streams, abandoned silver mines, and other spectacular views to enjoy on this trail. If you’re fond of hiking, then you can take a break from your ride and do that as well.

Sugar Creek Trail

There are various kinds of terrain found here on Sugar Creek Trail. The greenery and different kinds of trees will make you want to stay here forever. The ride ranges are of all kinds, from easy to difficult. Do not let this exciting outdoor opportunity get out of your hands.

Wolf Pen Gap ATV Riding Trail

These 35 miles of loop trails are great, especially for riding ATV. While riding through this trail, you face many wonderful views, including the Gap Creek and Board Camp Creek. This year-round open trail is closed only for deer gun season.

Brock Creek Trails

Consisting of two major loops, this trail system is a multi-use one. But, honestly, I think riding on an ATV is the best thing you can do here. There are many interconnecting loops along with the major ones as well. You get over 42 miles of trails here.

Final Thoughts

Riding on an ATV of side-by-side is therapy for stressed lives. Take your friends and family on an ATV trip and experience the enjoyment it will bring everyone close to you.

If you do not own a powersport vehicle like an ATV or Side-by-side, our favorites brand is Honda.  Check out Honda ATV and Side-by-side vehicles and get ready to enjoy life to the max!
